Ralitsa was introduced to the violin at the age of six . She began having violin lessons in her native town- Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria. She attended a vocational music school from the age of 11 to 18, followed by a Batcheler’s Degree from the National Academy of Music ‘Pancho Vladigerov’.
Ralitsa’s playing was strongly influenced by the Russian violin school through her teachers Stoika Milanova and Lydia Mordkovitch ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lydia_Mordkovitch), both pupils of David Oistrakh’s.
Ralitsa moved to London in 2016, where she obtained a masters degree in Violin from Royal Academy of Music followed by a Masters degree in Viola at Trinity and Laban College. She was awarded a full scholarship for all three years of study.
Ralitsa was taught by Yuko Inoue, Rivka Golani and Emmanuella Reiter.
Passionate about chamber music, Ralitsa had been a member of prizewinning string quartets and has taken masterclasses with renowned quartets such as Chilingirian Quartet, Brodsky Quartet.
Along with her ensemble at the time, Scarampella Ensemble, Ralitsa received First Prize in the Cavatina Chamber Music Competition.

Veles Ensemble was invited for an interview and live performance on BBC Radio 3 ‘In Tune’ in September, 2019
We have given concerts around Europe, for example at the Roman River Festival in DATE (https://romanrivermusic.org.uk/product/veles-ensemble/); The Levoca Indian Summer Festival in Slovakia in November, 2019 France Saint-Lager, and at Belleville and Gleizé in collaboration with the Clarinetist Peter Cigleris.

Ralitsa regularly shares a platform with pianist A. Fordham ( piano, accompanist ) who is a British pianist based in London.
Ralitsa was accepted onto the London Philharmonic Orchestra’s Foyle Future Firsts Development Programme, parallel to her year in Southbank Sinfonia. Currently Ralitsa works as a substitute for the London Philharmonic Orchestra. She previously gained substitute positions in the Oslo National Opera and also in Trondheim Symphony Orchestra. Since 2022 Ralitsa has started playing as a substitute player at Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.
She was a co-leader of the viola section of Santo Domingo Music Festival ( in 2015, 2017) and Viola Solo in March Music Days International Festival, 2021.
Ralitsa had collaborated in projects led by Sir Simon Rattle, Sir Colin Davis, Pablo Heras – Casado, Sir Bejamin Zander and Leif Segerstam .
